Bridge True North was born out of a passion for finding solutions that help vulnerable persons to hope again where all hope seems lost; to make a way where there seems to be no other way.
Our work began years ago voluntarily assisting refugees to find a new and permanent home. The joyful reward of bridging them to a new beginning prompted founder Shannon Ditonne, to pursue a career in immigration consulting in order to broaden the categories of who we could help. We recognized that there are many others who are also seeking immigration solutions but are not refugees. Becoming an expert in this field would not only increase our capacity to reach a greater variety of clients but would also equip us to deliver our absolute best to all clients which matters tremendously because we value excellence. Now, here we are today, ready to serve you better.

Shannon Paige Ditonne, Founder and Primary RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant)
Hello, I’m so glad you’re here! I am originally from Canada but have spent many years abroad working and traveling where I have had the pleasure of interacting with many people from all corners of the world, experienced many cultures and learned new languages. This has always been extremely intriguing and exciting for me and has largely influenced my desire to become a RCIC. I graduated from UBC’s (Univeristy of British Columbia) Immigration Law, Policies and Procedures program and also hold a Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University and a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Diploma.
Although born and raised in Canada, I am no stranger to the challenges immigrants face when applying for immigration to and resettling in Canada through my experience of having both a parent and a spouse immigrating to Canada. I am, therefore, sensitive to client needs and concerns. I am determined to find immigration solutions that work for you and committed to persistently pursue them into becoming your reality.
I am a member in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). Before hiring anyone to help you with your immigration application, take the important steps of ensuring they are qualified and licensed.
